Rs 2 Million Looted In Year's First Bank Heist In Karachi

A posse of burglars snatched Rs2 million in the principal bank heist of the year 2022 in Karachi on Thursday, as per police.

They said furnished men entered a bank inside the locale of Shahrah-e-Noor Jehan police headquarters at 11:09am and overwhelmed safety officers. They held the watchmen, as well as bank workers prisoner at gunpoint as one of them discharged cash counters, the police added.

The suspects stole from Rs2 million and moved away, a police official said, adding they additionally removed the watchmen's weapons.
