According to the Pakistani Interior Ministry, Oman's Ambassador to Pakistan Omar Ahmed Al-Marhoon met with Pakistani Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed on Monday and discussed ways to promote tourism between the two countries along with the inauguration of a ferry service.
Pakistan is considering launching a ferry service connecting the Middle East ports with Karachi and Gwadar. The country has long dreamed of launching a service that Connecting Pakistani ports with Dubai, Oman and Iran, it will be easier for passengers to travel to these places by providing different routes.
The South Asian government has also encouraged the private sector to invest in this mode of transport.
