Sindh To Cultivate Oil Palm Trees On 1000 Acres

The Sindh government has chosen to send off the second undertaking of oil palm development on 1,000 sections of land in the territory in Thatta area.

The choice with this impact was reached at the seventeenth gathering of the overseeing body of the Sindh Coastal Development Authority (CDA) hung on Thursday with Sindh Environment and Coastal Development Minister Ismail Rahoo in seat.

The members of the gathering were informed about the progressing and new activities of the power by its chief general and different authorities. Rahoo let the gathering know that an amount of Rs356 million would be spent on the second undertaking of oil palm development in the territory.

He added that 60,000 oil palm trees would be established on 1,000 sections of land during the continuous year. Upon the fulfillment of the task, the Sindh government expects that 40 kilograms of oil would be separated from each tree.

The CDA boss informed the gathering that the Sindh timberland division had been approached to give 3,000 sections of land of land to sending off such activities and 2,000 sections of land out of that had been accommodated the reason.
